Leanne Maskell is an author, model, law graduate and activist. Having modelled since the age of 13 for brands such as Vogue & ASOS, she used her legal knowledge to publish the only anti-exploitation manual for the industry, the Model Manifesto, featured on the cover of the Times and appearances on Lorraine and BBC News. Leanne still speaks out on exploitation to publications such as the Guardian  and the Sunday Times, appearing in an upcoming Netflix documentary calling for change in the modelling industry.

Leanne is also passionate about mental health, most recently publishing ADHD: an A to Z, after learning that diagnosis by the NHS can take up to 7 years. Working as a legal Policy Adviser in mental health and immigration law, she has worked first-hand on the mental health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, and is determined to make positive change. She blogs about relevant topics, such as why Kendall Jenner's recent viral image needs a health warning, and is currently working on her new book aimed at dissecting 'the attention deficit' that we are all experiencing due to modern technology, including how this impacts our mental health.
